Last night I became very frightened.
I barely had any sleep the night before.
I don’t remember the night completely.
I woke up at dawn in a panic.
I still had much to study for my Bio Exam.
Another disappointment.
I replenished my physical needs with a bagel.
I went to the chapel to replenish my spiritual needs.
I couldn’t focus. Thoughts ran through my head.
What is the agenda for the rest of the day?
Another class. Focus.
After class, off to study.
After study, review session.
After review session, home.
At home more studying.
I lay in bed. My eyes were so tired but I knew I had much to think about. The rotating blades of the fan melodiously rocked me to bed. The inviting, fluffy comforter tucked me in snuggishly. The setting was perfect for a good night’s rest. But my mind was not. Finally, it gave up. Another day.

I really enjoyed reading this blog. It was very creative. I liked how your blog was a story which came full circle: beginning with waking up in a panic due to your Bio exam and then falling asleep at ease in the comfort of your own bed. Your story was very concise, yet poetic at the same time which shows your craft and skill as a writer. Great job!
ReplyDeleteI really loved your blog. It was artistic and inspiring. I loved how you managed to make something as simple your day poetic. I love the part about how your fan put you to sleep. To me you set the mood and I would sleep in that environment. This was an overall great blog and you did well weaving everything together.
